Peel and Stick Wallpaper

I have a thing for decor that is changeable. It’s difficult for me to commit to something as permanent as wallpaper especially when we had the painstaking task of removing multiple layers during our farmhouse renovation. (It was HARD WORK!) So when I heard that Rocky Mountain Decals had created a full coverage wall product that was easily removable, I was excited to jump at the opportunity to give it a try and my master bedroom was the perfect spot for a fresh updated look. Here is a ‘before’ shot of our bedroom.
After I settled on the room, the big decision was choosing the design. Rocky Mountain Decals has what seems like hundreds to choose from! So I narrowed it down to six and reached out to the Instagram community for a vote. Here were the six contenders.
The vote was split because they are all so gorgeous! Ultimately because it is ‘our’ room, my husband and I decided on the neutral white with the grey/gold outlined floral pattern. It was our way of being bold and safe at the same time.
The day the package arrived I was ready to unroll it and get it up!
Following the instructions provided in the packaging is so important. I have to be honest, I did not and it greatly affected the process. You have to be precise to keep your pattern and your edges consistent. The GREAT (and my favorite) thing about this product is that it is incredibly forgiving. The pattern itself hides careless errors and you can remove it and replace it (also known as ‘trying again’) as many times as needed without damaging the paper or the wall. Just cut to fit and use the paper in the order it comes in the roll. Then peel and stick!
I am thrilled with the end result! Although I don’t expect to want to change this room any time soon, if I did I could just take the paper down with no damage to our paint or sheetrock.
Thank you Rocky Mountain Decals for an amazing product. I couldn’t love it more!
