Beautiful slice of hill country paradise. This home is stunning and all of the extra little details made it feel like home. The house was clean, spacious and even allowed for us to enjoy an old record player. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive; anticipating all of our needs. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Escondida. The house was charming and well decorated. It sits on a beautiful and peaceful property. Shannon and Mark were helpful and attentive when we had questions. They directed us to great coffee nearby at Sonder where we grabbed a latte every morning. This property is so convenient to Wimberley and Dripping Springs. We had delicious meals at Trattoria Lisina and Whiskey Ridge which were just minutes away. Farmhouse at Elder Hill is one of our family’s all time favorite Airbnbs.

I booked two houses at the Farmhouse on Elder Hill for my close family and friends, and everyone loved these houses!! We were all so comfortable!! Shannon was so nice and accommodating! We already miss staying there! Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. The house was just what we needed for our extended family to gather for the wedding of our niece/granddaughter. Our group enjoyed staying here while visiting for a wedding. We found that the house had enough space for both everyone hanging out and doing our own thing. Comfy living space furniture when we were all in one room. Excellent communication at check-in / check-out and during our stay when we had questions.

Perfect weekend getaway! Shannon’s place was the perfect spot for a group of us to stay while in town for a wedding. The property is exactly as depicted, check-in/check-out was a breeze and Shannon was always quick to respond with answers and recommendations! Would definitely recommend!

Wow! What a beautiful home! I can’t say enough good about this place! Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, big rooms, great yard and back patio! Love the decor! Shannon was a wonderful host. She answered all of my question and was quick to reply. She was very understand and accommodating to all of our needs and wishes. We will definitely be back for another stay! My family and I enjoyed our stay so very much!

First off, this experience was booked due to my daughter’s wedding which took place 3 minutes from the home which was so convenient!
From the moment I booked this home, everything and everyone have been amazing. I could not have asked for greater hospitality and truly felt welcome. Shannon even helped with allowing me to have flowers for the wedding shipped to the home and some even arrived early. Shannon helped get the flowers to a cool location. She went above and beyond to help and make this an incredible, uneventful event!
I would highly recommend the Escondido to any and all. The home itself is exquisite! The gold accents were my favorite.
